PTIC heifers sell to $2550 at Biggenden
Burnett Livestock & Realty’s Biggenden All Breeds Female Sale on Thursday 5 March 2026 saw a yarding of 1682 head.
Cattle were drawn from Duaringa Theodore, Mundubbera, Harrami, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Booubyjan, Murgon, Tansey, Goomeri, Kilkivan, Kandanga, Bororen, Bollier and all local areas.
Aged Simmental cross cows and calves from Gin Gin sold for $2425. First calf Simmental cross cows and calves from Brooweena sold for $2500. Aged Droughtmaster cows and calves from Booubyjan sold for $2200. Droughtmaster cows and calves from Mundubbera sold for $2600.
Droughtmaster PTIC heifers from the Mary Valley sold for $2550. Red Brahman PTIC heifers from Biggenden sold for $2350 – $2550. Mixed aged Droughtmaster PTIC cows from Mundubbera sold for $2100.
Milk and two tooth Brangus heifers from Wallaville sold for 416c/$1770. Two tooth Grey Brahman heifers from Gaeta sold for 420c/$1561. Two tooth Angus cross heifers from Mundubbera sold for 430c/$2151. Milk and two tooth Speyed heifers from Harrami sold for 434c/$1620.
