Burnett Livestock & Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday, 20th July saw a yarding of 2720 head.
Cattle were drawn from Flaggy Rock, Bororen, Miriam Vale, Rosedale, Gin Gin, Bundaberg, Maryborough, Childers, Hervey Bay, Tiaro, Woolooga, Kilkivan, Tansey, Gayndah, Mundubbera, Eidsvold and Chinchilla.
Four to eight tooth Droughtmaster bullocks from Booyal sold for 452c/$3062. Four tooth Brahman bullocks from Binjour sold for 450c/$2344. Eight tooth Brahman cross bullocks from Bundaberg sold for 442c/$3029. Six and eight tooth Brahman bullocks from Mundubbera sold for 442c/$2749.
Six tooth Brahman heifers from Gayndah sold for 410c/$2502. Two tooth Droughtmaster heifers from Mundubbera sold for 412c/$2184. Two and four tooth Ultrablack heifers from Biggenden sold for 422c/$1924.
Limousin cows from Bundaberg sold for 372c/$2363. Brahman cross cows from Gayndah sold for 385c/$2117. Grey Brahman cows from Gayndah sold for 386c/$2339. Brahman cross cows from Didcot sold for 372c/$2121. Charbray cows from Goodnight Scrub sold for 370c/$2319.
