F1 Charolais cross steers sell to 630c/kg in Biggenden!!
Burnett Livestock and Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday, 19th January saw a yarding of 2572 head.
Cattle were drawn from Esk, Cooyar, Kilcoy, Goomeri, Murgon, Gayndah, Mundubbera, Theodore, Mount Perry, Gin Gin, Miriam Vale, Rosedale, 1770, Oyster Creek, Bundaberg, Maryborough, Hervey Bay and Cinnabar.
Young Charolais cross cows and calves from Promise Land sold for $2100. First calf Brahman cross cows and calves from Wallaville sold for $1900. Aged Charbray cross cows and calves from Murgon sold for $1825. Medium frame crossbred cows and calves from Eureka sold for $1675.
Six and eight tooth Queenslander bullocks from Gayndah sold for 450c/$3207. Two to six tooth crossbred bullocks from Dallarnil sold for 446c/$2725. Two to six tooth Santa cross bullocks from Gin Gin sold for 448c/$2628.
Four tooth Red Brahman heifers from Hervey Bay sold for 420c/$2311. Four tooth Charbray heifers from Gayndah sold for 420c/$2192. Six tooth Droughtmaster heifers from Coringa sold for 414c/$2381.
