Burnett Livestock & Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday 24 March 2025 saw a yarding of 2415 head.
Cattle were drawn from Mount Larcom, Bororen, Ubobo, 1770, Miriam Vale, Bundaberg, Maryborough, Tiaro, Miva, Murgon, Hivesville, Nanango, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Eidsvold and all local areas.
Four to Eight tooth Charbray bullocks from Boompa sold for 340c/$2187. Milk and two tooth Braford cross bullocks from Binjour sold for 336c/$1879. Four to eight tooth bullocks from Mundubbera sold for 338c/$2077. Four tooth Droughtmaster bullocks from Bargara sold for 336c/ $2101.
Two and six tooth Senepol heifers from Electra sold for 332c/ $1959. Two to Six tooth Brahman heifers from Gayndah sold for 338c/ $1674. Two tooth Brangus heifers from Childers sold for 336c/$2059. Six tooth Droughtmaster Heifers from Yerra sold for 326c/ $2055. Four tooth Simmental cross heifers from Proston sold for 314c/ $1806.
