Burnett Livestock and Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday, 30th March saw a yarding of 3400 head. Cattle drawn from Sarina, Chinchilla, Theodore, Eidsvold, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Murgon, Tansey, Crownthorpe, Kilkivan, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Rosedale, Miriam Vale and all local areas.
Four and six tooth Droughtmaster cross bullocks from Binjour sold for 422c/ $2586. Two tooth Droughtmaster steers sold for 414c/ $2236. Two to six tooth Brahman cross bullocks from Wallaville sold for 420c/ $2360. Six tooth Simmental cross bullocks from Biggenden sold for 416c/ $2337. Four tooth Red Brangus bullocks from Bundaberg sold for 416c/ $2289.
Four tooth Droughtmaster heifers from Mundubbera sold for 380c/ $2331. Milk tooth Brahman cross heifers from Eidsvold sold for 382c/ $1638. Two to six tooth Grey Brahman heifers from Didcot sold for 368c/ $1626. Four and six tooth Braford heifers from Gayndah sold for 382c/ $2173.
