Burnett Livestock and Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday 20 October 2025 saw a yarding of 1986 head.
Cattle were drawn from Chinchilla, Theodore, Calliope, Eidsvold, Mundubbera. Gayndah, Murgon, Booubyjan, Woolooga, Tiaro, Imbil, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Gin Gin, Bundaberg, Rosedale, Miriam Vale, Brooweena and all local areas.
Milk and two tooth Santa bullocks from Chinchilla sold for 422c/$2638. Six and eight tooth Brahman cross bullocks from Boompa sold for 386c/$2568. Four and six tooth Charbray bullocks from Wallaville sold for 396c/$2393. Six tooth Droughtmaster bullocks from Imbil sold for 388c/$2212.
Two tooth Charolais heifers from Bundaberg sold for 370c/$2165. Six tooth Red Brahman heifers from Theodore sold for 382c/$2073. Two tooth Brahman heifers from Binjour sold for 366c/$1776.
Charolais cows from Bundaberg sold for 360c/$2845. Charolais cows from Bargara sold for 360c/$2215. Charolais cross cows from Goodnight Scrub sold for 356c/$2178. Charbray cows from Moranville sold for 366c/$2083. Droughtmaster cows from Yerra sold for 354c/$1753. Most fat cows sold for 320-350c/kg while the second run of fat cows sold for 290-320c/kg and store cows sold for 220-270c/kg depending on age and condition.
