Burnett Livestock and Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday 22 September 2025 saw a yarding of 3266 head.
Cattle were drawn from Sarina, Theodore, Eidsvold, Monto, Thangool, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Murgon, Goomeri, Tiaro, Kenilworth, Maryborough, Bundaberg, Miriam Vale, Rosedale, 1770, Cloyna, Childers and all local areas.
Milk tooth Limousin cross bullocks from Maryborough sold for 436c/$2584. Four tooth Brahman cross bullocks from Biggenden sold for 396c/$2278. Four tooth Santa bullocks from Childers sold for 388c/$2096. Four tooth Charolais cross bullocks from Boompa sold for 404c/$2101. Four and six tooth Santa cross bullocks from Gin Gin sold for 422c/$2415. Six tooth Simbrah bullocks from Eidsvold sold for 418c/$2111.
Four and six tooth Charolais cross heifers from Boompa sold for 394c/$2034. Four and six tooth Brangus heifers from Gin Gin sold for 388c/$1659. Two tooth Charbray heifers from Bundaberg sold for 398c/$2190. Six tooth Charbray heifers from Childers sold for 378c/$2121. Four tooth Charbray heifers from Goodnight Scrub sold for 414c/$2485.

Most fat cows sold for 320-350c/kg and the second run of fat cows sold for 290-320c/kg while the store cows sold for 250-280c/kg depending on age and condition.
