Burnett Livestock & Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday 28 July 2025 saw a yarding of 1480 head.
Cattle were drawn from Duaringa, Raglan, Miriam Vale, 1770, Rosedale, Bundaberg, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Kandanga, Murgon, Tansey, Gayndah, Mundubbera, Eidsvold, Imbil and all local areas.
Two tooth Limousin cross bullocks from Biggenden sold for 366c/$2160. Two tooth Brahman bullocks from Childers sold for 362c/$2021. Six tooth Brahman cross bullocks from Mundubbera sold for 354c/$2107. Six tooth Angus cross bullocks from Duaringa sold for 366c/$2325.
Two tooth Charbray heifers from Didcot sold for 340c/$1590. Two to six tooth Red Brahman heifers from Bungadoo sold for 332c/$1802. Four tooth Charbray heifers from Biggenden sold for 336c/$1781. Four and six tooth Brahman cross heifers from Hivesville sold for 326c/$1586.
Santa cows from Duaringa sold for 328c/$2044. Brahman cross cows from Biggenden sold for 314c/$1819. Brahman cross cows from Gayndah sold for 322c/$2026. Droughtmaster cows from Gayndah sold for 296c/$1735.
Charbray cows and calves from Tirroan sold for $1675. Charolais cross cows and calves from the Promise Land sold for $1600. Droughtmaster cross cows and calves from Lowmead sold for $1425.

There weren’t many weaner heifers on offer due to the upcoming weaner sale on Thursday. Weaner heifers generally sold for 250-280c/kg.
