Burnett Livestock and Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Thursday 8 May 2025 saw a yarding of 1412 head.
Cattle were drawn from Duaringa, Theodore, Eidsvold, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Goomeri, Tansey, Tiaro, Widgee, Bundaberg, Rosedale, Gin Gin, Electra, Hollywell and all local areas.
Two and four tooth Grey Brahman bullocks from Gin Gin sold for 332c/$2066. Four and six tooth Droughtmaster cross bullocks from Burrum Heads sold for 326c/$2074. Two and four tooth Droughtmaster bullocks from Binjour sold for 332c/$2038. Six tooth Simbrah bullocks from Hollywell sold for 332c/$2179.
Four and six tooth Queenslander heifers from Gayndah sold for 298c/$1591. Two and four tooth Red Brahman heifers from Gaeta sold for 298c/$1505. Six tooth Brangus heifers from Bundaberg sold for 306c/$1745. Four tooth Charbray heifers from Electra sold for 302c/$1767.
Senepol cows from Goodwood sold for 272c/$1645. Red Brahman cows from Mount Perry sold for 270c/$1545. Santa Gertrudis cows from Coalstoun Lakes sold for 274c/$1630. Charbray cows from Riverleigh sold for 270c/$1756. Heavy Charolais cows from Theodore sold for 282c/$1997. Charbray cows from Biggenden sold for 274c/$1987.
