Heavy Weight Feeder Steers Sell To 492c/kg At Biggenden
Burnett Livestock & Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks and Store Sale on Monday 8 September 2025 saw a yarding of 1919 head.
Cattle were drawn from Monto, Eidsvold, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Binjour, Booubyjan, Murgon, Tansey, Eumundi, Caboolture, Tiaro, Scotchy Pocket, Hervey Bay, Brooweena, Bundaberg, Rosedale, Lowmead, Miriam Vale and all local areas.
Eight tooth Brahman cross bullocks from Bundaberg sold for 392c/$2176. Eight tooth Angus bullocks from Meadowvale sold for 380c/$3003. Four and six tooth Brahman bullocks from Lowmead sold for 390c/$2048. Six and eight tooth Angus cross bullocks from Biggenden sold for 380c/$2195.
Two and four tooth Brahman heifers from Childers sold for 370c/$1832. Six tooth Speckle Park heifers from Bundaberg sold for 370c/$2147. Four and six tooth Speckle Park cross heifers from Biggenden sold for 355c/$1757. Two tooth Brangus heifers from Binjour sold for 370c/$1980.
