Burnett Livestock & Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday 9 December 2024 saw a yarding of 1651 head.
Cattle were drawn from Chinchilla, Moura, Theodore, Mount Larcom, Cracow, Monto, Eidsvold, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Proston, Murgon, Goomeri, Tiaro, Hervey Bay, Gin Gin, Mount Perry, Miriam Vale, Rosedale, Ubobo and all local areas.
Two and four tooth Brahman cross bullocks from Gin Gin sold for 324c/$1864. Eight tooth Droughtmaster bullocks from Bundaberg sold for 318c/$2163. Four tooth Droughtmaster bullocks from Childers sold for 320c/$2240. Four tooth Droughtmaster bullocks from Mount Perry sold for 322c/$1666.
Four and six tooth Santa heifers from Chinchilla sold for 320c/$1672. Four and six tooth Angus cross heifers from Theodore sold for 306c/$1837. Six tooth Charbray heifers from Bundaberg sold for 306c/$1745.
Brahman cows from Mount Larcom sold for 286c/$1482. Angus cross cows from Theodore sold for 287c/$1881. Droughtmaster cross cows from Bundaberg sold for 284c/$1577.
