Burnett Livestock and Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday 13 January 2025 saw a rain affected yarding of 1080 head where the market was dearer for all descriptions.
Cattle were drawn from Biloela, Calliope, Moura, Theodore, Eidsvold, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Tansey, Murgon, Windera, Childers, Bundaberg, Rosedale, 1770, Miriam Vale, Mount Perry and all local areas.
Middle age Droughtmaster cows and calves from Lowmead sold for $1840. Grey Brahman cows and calves from Bundaberg sold from $1240-$1540.
Two and four tooth Brangus cross bullocks from Booyal sold for 350c/$2089. Four to Eight tooth Droughtmaster bullocks from Bundaberg sold for 348c/$1854. Four tooth Santa heifers from Mundubbera sold for 348c/$1880. Six tooth Charbray heifers from Gin Gin sold for 346c/$1748. Six tooth Charbray heifers from Theodore sold for 346c/$1921.
