Burnett Livestock and Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday, 13th April saw a yarding of 2200 head.
Cattle were drawn from Wandoan, Eidsvold, Mount Perry, Gin Gin, Rosedale, Miriam Vale, Bundaberg, Maryborough, Tiaro, Murgon, Booubyjan, Cloyna and all surrounding areas.
Four to eight tooth crossbred bullocks from Eidsvold sold for 426c/ $2978. Two and four tooth Santa cross bullocks from Wandoan sold for 424c/ $2846. Two and four tooth Braford bullocks from Miriam Vale sold for 406c/ $2152.
Six tooth Angus cross heifers from Miriam Vale sold for 384c/ $1840. Two and four tooth Charbray heifers from Gin Gin sold for 374c/ $1908. Six tooth Simbrah cross heifers from Rosedale sold for 378c/ $1976. Two tooth Charolais cross heifers from Brooweena sold for 380c/ $2205. Four and six tooth Santa cross heifers sold for 370c/ $1730.
