Burnett Livestock and Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday, 16th March saw a yarding of 1580 head.
Cattle were drawn from Ambrose, Miriam Vale, Bororen, 1770, Rosedale, Gin Gin, Childers, Maryborough, Tiaro, Kandanga, Kenilworth, Tansey, Cloyna, Gayndah, Mundubbera and all local areas.
Young Speckle Park cows and calves from Kandanga sold for $1850. Young crossbred cows and calves from Kilkivan sold for $1550. Brahman cross cows and calves from Gin Gin sold for $1400.
Two and four tooth Charbray bullocks from Gaeta sold for 450c/ $2779. Four and six tooth Santa bullocks from Coalstoun Lakes sold for 448c/ $2374. Two and four tooth Charbray bullocks from Mundubbera sold for 454c/ $2562. Two and six tooth bullocks from Biggenden sold for 454c/ $2592. Two tooth Speckle Park bullocks from Binjour sold for 444c/ $2513.
Two tooth Charbray heifers from Gaeta sold for 436c/ $2410. Four tooth Brangus heifers from Goomeri sold for 422c/ $2364. Six tooth Charbray heifers from Childers sold for 428c/ $2248. Six tooth Santa heifers from Coalstoun Lakes sold for 430c/ $2515.
Red Brahman cows from Gaeta sold for 410c/ $2275. Charbray cows from Boompa sold for 408c/ $2555. Charolais cows from Bundaberg sold for 406c / $2782.
