Burnett Livestock & Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday, 31st August saw a yarding of 2067 head.
Cattle were drawn from Bororen, Miriam Vale, Rosedale, Gin Gin, Maryborough, Rules Beach, Turkey Beach, Kenilworth, Monto, Murgon, Mundubbera, Theodore, Gayndah, Lowmead and all local areas.
Four and six tooth bullocks from Gin Gin sold for 456c/$2680. Six tooth Brahman Cross steers from Gayndah sold for 448c/$2061. Four tooth Speckle Park steers from Dallarnil sold for 448c/$2397. Two to six tooth Brahman steers from Brooweena sold for 444c/$2354.
Two and four tooth Red Brahman heifers from Gooroolba sold for 426c/$1988. Two tooth Limousin heifers from Childers sold for 418c/$1819. Four and six tooth heifers from Gayndah sold for 424c/$1862.
