Burnett Livestock & Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday, 6th July saw a yarding of 2330 head.
Cattle were drawn from Sarina, Wandoan, Theodore, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Tansey, Woolooga, Kenilworth, Tiaro, Hervey Bay, Maryborough, Childers, Bundaberg, Rosedale, 1770, Miriam Vale and all local areas.
Young Charbray cows and calves from Gympie sold for $2650. Droughtmaster cows with baby calves from Bundaberg sold for $1900.
Four tooth Simmental cross bullocks from Coalstoun Lakes sold for 428c/$2465. Four and six tooth Droughtmaster bullocks from Bundaberg sold for 428c/$2697. Four and six tooth Brahman cross bullocks from Bucca sold for 424c/$2415.
Two to six-tooth Brahman cross heifers from Bucca sold for 428c/$2019. Four tooth Charbray cross heifers from Gatea sold for 426c/$2300. Two tooth Droughtmaster heifers from Mount Perry sold for 430c/$2021.
