Burnett Livestock & Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday 5 August 2024 saw a yarding of 1812 head.
Cattle were drawn from Theodore, Eidsvold, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Booubyjan, Goomeri, Tiaro, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Miriam Vale, Rosedale and all local areas.
Eight tooth Droughtmaster cross bullocks from Mount Perry sold for 293c/$2015. Six and eight tooth Brahman bullocks from Mundubbera sold for 287c/$1700. Eight tooth Brangus bullocks from Rosedale sold for 280c/$1603. Eight tooth Brangus bullocks from Miriam Vale sold for 285c/$1876.
Two and four tooth Charbray heifers from Gayndah sold for 308c/$1646. Four tooth Charolais heifers from Theodore sold for 308c/$1445. Six tooth Brahman heifers from Biggenden sold for 255c/$1352. Two tooth Brangus heifers from Biggenden sold for 280c/$1316.
