Burnett Livestock & Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday 16th September 2024 saw a yarding of 2546 head.
Cattle were drawn from Sarina, Chinchilla, Theodore, Eidsvold, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Mount Perry, Goomeri, Wondai, Theebine, Kin Kin, Tiaro, Hervey Bay, Gin Gin, Bundaberg, Rosedale, Lowmead, Miriam Vale, Ubobo and all local areas.
Four and six tooth Brahman bullocks from Lowmead sold for 338c/$1860. Six and eight tooth Brangus cross bullocks from Theodore sold for 308c/$1887. Two tooth Santa Gertrudis heifers from Chinchilla sold for 328c/$1768. Six tooth Charbray heifers from Childers sold for 319c/$1891. Four tooth Red Angus heifers from Childers sold for 310c/$2015.
