Burnett Livestock and Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks and Store Sale on Monday 22 May saw a yarding of 1285 head.
Cattle drawn from Eidsvold, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Proston, Goomeri, Eumundi, Tiaro, Maryborough, Rosedale, Miriam Vale, Boompa and local areas.
Six tooth Brahman bullocks from Lowmead sod for 268c/$1535. Four and six tooth Droughtmaster bullocks from Bundaberg sold for 264c/$1899. Six tooth Angus bullocks from Biggenden sold for 259c/$2073.
Two to six tooth Grey Brahman heifers from Gayndah sold for 247c/$1390. Two to six tooth Red Brahman heifers from Gaeta sold for 239c/$1201.
Grey Brahman cows from Gin Gin sold for 228c/$1494. Grey Brahman cows from Gayndah sold for 227c/$1452. Limousin cross cows from Boompa sold 210c/$1158. Droughtmaster cows from Gayndah sold for 210c/$1186.
