Burnett Livestock and Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks and Store sale on Monday 31 July 2023 saw a yarding of 700 head.
Cattle were drawn from Crownthorpe, Gayndah, Imbil, Tiaro, Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Rosedale, Gin Gin and local areas.
Four tooth Brangus bullocks from Gin Gin sold for 304c/$1726. Six and eight tooth Brahman cross bullocks from Bucca sold for 271c/$1758. Six and eight tooth Brahman cross bullocks from Childers sold for 269c/$1759.
Two and four tooth Droughtmaster heifers from Gayndah sold for 290c/$1610. Six tooth red Brahman heifers from Gaeta sold for 274c/$1562. Two and four tooth Brahman cross heifers from Brooweena sold for 289c/$1323. Milk and two tooth heifers from Bundaberg sold for 272c/$1102.
Grey Brahman cows from Gayndah sold for 228c/$1500. Grey Brahman cows from Coalstoun Lakes sold for 223c/$1216. Grey Brahman cows from Biggenden sold for 225c/$1346. Brangus cows from Biggenden sold for 218c/$1098.
