Burnett Livestock and Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks and Store Sale on Monday 03 July 2023 saw a yarding of 1140 head. Cattle were drawn from Wandoan, Monto, Eidsvold, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Tansey, Hervey Bay, Tiaro, Bundaberg, Rosedale, Miriam Vale and local areas.
Four and six tooth Brahman cross bullocks from Biggenden sold for 273c/$2171. Six and eight tooth Crossbred bullocks from Boompa sold for 278c/$1788. Six tooth Santa Gertrudis cross bullocks from Wandoan sold for 274c/$2185.
Two tooth Droughtmaster cross heifers from Biggenden sold for 267c/$1295. Four and six tooth Droughtmaster cross heifers from Booubyjan for 262c/$1384. Six tooth grey Brahman heifers from Riverleigh sold for 255c/$1420.
Santa Gertrudis cows from Binjour sold for 221c/$1692. Grey Brahman cows from Hivesville sold for 213c/$1156. Grey Brahman cows from Gayndah sold for 224c/$1316. Santa Gertrudis cows from Mount Perry sold for 213c/$1353. Simbrah cows from Brooweena sold for 211c/$1436.
