Burnett Livestock & Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday 2nd September 2024 saw a yarding of 2164 head.
Cattle were drawn from Theodore, Monto, Eidsvold, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Goomeri, Tansey, Crownthorpe, Murgon, Kilkivan, Tiaro, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Gin Gin, 1770, Rosedale, Oyster Creek, Miriam Vale, Ubobo and all local areas.
Six and eight tooth Charbray cross bullocks from Boompa sold for 338c/$2380. Milk to four tooth Brahman bullocks from Coalstoun Lakes sold for 322c/$1794. Four tooth Droughtmaster bullocks from Wallaville sold for 322c/$1755. Six tooth Charbray bullocks from Coringa sold for 327c/$2028.
Six tooth Brangus heifers from Bundaberg sold for 315c/$1702. Belgian Blue cross cows from Tiaro sold for 291c/$1814. Brahman cross cows from Brooweena sold for 279c/$1594.
