Burnett Livestock & Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday 24 June 2024 saw a yarding of 1702 head.
Cattle were drawn from Sarina, Dululu, Moura, Theodore, Ubobo, Eidsvold, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Murgon, Booubyjan, Goomeri, Kilkivan, Woolooga, Sexton, Tiaro, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Rosedale, Miriam Vale and all local areas.
Two tooth Droughtmaster bullocks from Mundubbera sold for 266c/$1681. Two and four tooth Santa Gertrudis bullocks from Gin Gin sold for 264c/$1789. Four tooth Simmental bullocks from Gin Gin sold for 262c/$1916. Eight tooth Santa Gertrudis bullocks from Wallaville sold for 247c/$1668.
Two to Six tooth Simbrah heifers from Eidsvold sold for 255c/$1350. Six tooth Droughtmaster heifers from Gayndah sold for 248c/$1402. Six tooth Santa Gertrudis cross heifers from Biggenden sold for 250c/$1070. Two tooth Charbray heifers from Biggenden sold for 249c/$1221.
