Burnett Livestock and Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks and Store Sale on Monday 24 April saw a yarding of 1560 head.
Cattle were drawn from Theodore, Eidsvold, Monto, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Goomeri, Murgon, Nanango, Kenilworth, Tiaro, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Rosedale, Miriam Vale and local areas.
Two tooth Droughtmaster steers from Mundubbera sold from 325-340c/$1722 – $1849. Four and six tooth Brangus bullocks from Gin Gin sold for 317c/$2073. Eight tooth Droughtmaster bullocks from Kenilworth sold for 307c/$2296.
Four and six tooth Brangus heifers from Mundubbera sold for 309c/$1647. Six tooth Charolais heifers from Theodore sold for 308c/$2018. Four and six tooth Brangus heifers from Lowmead sold for 316c/$1581.
Grey Brahman cows from Gayndah sold from 280-283c/$1677-$1814. Droughtmaster cows from Gayndah sold for 283c/$1637. Charbray cows from Bundaberg sold for 265c/$1861. Brahman cows from Bundaberg sold for 270c/$1709. Brangus cows from Mundubbera sold for 269c/$1401.
