Special Announcement – Exciting Change for Burnett Livestock & Realty

We are very excited to announce the sale of our businesses Burnett Livestock & Realty and Burnett Livestock Exchange.
After fifteen years of operation and three years since undertaking the redevelopment of the Biggenden Saleyards we feel it is time for new owners to take over. We are very proud of the business we have grown and are so grateful for the extraordinary team of people working with us. Our appreciation for our wonderful clients and the support they have given over the years, entrusting us with their livestock and marketing, must also be acknowledged.
The past eighteen months have been an amazing time to be in the business with record breaking markets and now some beautiful rain. It is a very good time for a new owner to take on the enterprise and enjoy a good start; and it is a very good time for us to step off the cattle sale cycle and spend some time with our family and our cattle. We look forward to handing the reins over to new owners James Cochrane and Emily Rockemer in early January, and wish James and Emily every success. It is wonderful to have Burnett Livestock & Realty to continue as a family owned business.
Thank you again for your support and interest, it has been an amazing time and we have certainly learnt many lessons.
